Love your guys work! Sorry to miss you at SPWF and ISC… wish you all could have made it out.
We should chat in the near future….
Hi
Met you briefly yesterday at Dragon-Con. I am a world class illusionist/magician that now bases just east of Birmingham, Alabama.
My old website is davidrobinsonmagic.com
I have building an all new show for 2 years now and almost complete. I am doing a name change since I have the same name as a basketball player. My middle name is Verlin and I am changing the V to M and the new show will be “The Magic of David Merlin” Master Wizard.
I am looking to put together a touring show soon or even team up with other traveling acts.
David
I’m Meg & I attended your show at GMX & fell in love. I’ve started organizing a local group dedicated to providing a Steampunk Network here in Nashville & would very much like to somehow forge a type of partnership or Brotherhood if you will! What I’m hopefully trying to accomplish is make this Network a channeling of cosplayers, costumers, designers, tradesmen (And WOMEN!) and basically what have you here in Nashville that will be easily accessible to the general public. I’m also hoping to (eventually) get this group involved in local charity work. Basically I was motivated by seeing everything that you guys accomplished at GMX (and with Clocktease Burlesque) & was hoping that we could forge a mutually beneficial partnership & if we get our local following high enough (again this is in the future, but it doesn’t hurt to plan, eh?) I was hoping we could throw a massive Steampunk carnival with Apparition Abolishers & the Nashville Steampunk crew & even have booths set up & have a mini Steam con here. (We’re also looking into doing a Steampunk Burlesque and even just plain cosplay style calendar to sell for money to donate to local charities)
Please feel free to contact me (Bettie Blasphemy on Facebook) at steampunknashville (at) gmail (dot) com
